1. What is a California Responsible Beverage Server Training (RBS)?
   Responsible Beverage Server Training is for anyone who sells or serves alcoholic beverages. This training teaches you to identify signs of intoxication, minors and alcohol, as well as techniques you can use to stop service and the important laws & regulations you need to know in the state of California.
2. Who needs to take the course?
   Beginning July 1, 2022, any alcohol server and their manager must have a valid RBS certification from an ABC accredited RBS training provider and pass an online ABC administered RBS exam within 60 calendar days from the first date of employment.
3. How long is the course?
   The course is approximately 2 hours long.

4. How long is the certificate valid for?
   The certificate is valid for 2 years. After that time, you will need to take the course and exam again to get a new certification.
